How Much Does a Website Cost in Albania in 2026?
Real price ranges for business websites, multilingual corporate sites, e-commerce and custom applications — and the five factors that actually move a quote from one band to the next.
It is the first question almost every business asks, and the honest answer is that price follows scope, not page count. A five-page site with custom functionality can cost more than a twenty-page brochure site. What follows is how we actually price work in 2026, and what moves a project from one band to the next.
The short answer
| Type of project | Typical range |
|---|---|
| Single landing page, one language | Under €2,000 |
| Business website, custom design, CMS | €2,000 – €5,000 |
| Multilingual corporate site, SEO groundwork | €5,000 – €15,000 |
| E-commerce store or custom web application | €15,000 – €30,000 |
| Platform, SaaS product, complex integrations | €30,000+ |
These are ranges for work built to a professional standard: custom design, hand-written code or a purpose-built theme, a CMS your team can use, performance work and SEO fundamentals. They are not the price of a marketplace template with content pasted in.
What actually drives the price
1. Design: template, adapted, or original
Using an existing template is the cheapest route and it shows — most of the cost saved is paid back later in performance problems and in looking like four competitors. An original design costs more up front because it starts from your audience and your content rather than from a demo layout.
2. Number of unique page templates
Twenty pages that share four templates cost far less than eight pages that each need their own layout. When you request a quote, count distinct templates, not pages.
3. Languages
A second language is not a translation plugin. It is a second set of content, metadata, URLs and navigation, plus correct hreflang so search engines serve the right version. Expect a genuinely bilingual site to add roughly 20–35% to a build, most of which is content work rather than code.
4. Custom functionality
Booking systems, calculators, member areas, dashboards, integrations with a CRM or ERP — anything with business logic behind it — move a project from a website budget into a software budget. This is where the €15,000 line usually gets crossed.
5. Content
The most common cause of delay in Albania and everywhere else. If copy, photography and product data are ready, the project moves. If they are not, someone has to produce them, and that is a real cost whether it appears on the invoice or in the timeline.
What should always be included
- Mobile-first responsive layouts, tested on real devices
- Core Web Vitals addressed during the build, not after
- A CMS for the content you change regularly
- Basic on-page SEO: titles, descriptions, headings, structured data, sitemap
- Analytics and conversion tracking that actually records enquiries
- SSL, backups, and a documented handover
- Ownership of the code, the design and every account
If a quote does not include these, it is not cheaper — it is smaller.
Ongoing costs to plan for
Budget for hosting (roughly €10–€60 per month depending on stack and traffic), a domain (€10–€30 per year), and maintenance if you want updates, monitoring and backups handled for you. If you are running Google Ads or SEO, that is a separate monthly line — and it should be judged on cost per qualified lead, not on traffic.
How to compare two quotes properly
Put them side by side and ask four questions: What is the deliverable, exactly? Who owns the result? What happens after launch? And what is not included? A price is only comparable once those four answers are.
How we quote
We do not publish a rate card, because a number without a scope is meaningless. We ask what the site has to achieve, what exists today, and what constraints you are working within. Then we send a fixed price against a written scope, so you know what you are buying before you commit.
